Some people have really crazy names. I've heard of students named Urine, pronounced "ureena". What kind of parent does that?

Simple mispronunciations can be fun too. My in-laws discovered a street in St. Louis called Kingshighway, and proceeded to pronounce it "king-shig-way". Of course, now we all pronounce it that way.

What interesting names have you heard?

Ha! That's great! Poor kid...

LOL, nice one. My sister-in-law was in the Army with a shithead, er Shithead. Maybe somewhere it's like Mike or John heh. Anyway, I've been catching up with your posts, you've been quite busy over the past couple weeks I see. Great post on the 28 ways to make $ too, I know a lot of people will find that helpful. Keep it up,

I live in a spanish speaking country and people from the rural areas have the weirdest names. I knew a girl whose mother worked at one of the ports in the pacific. Ignorant about what it meant, she proceded to name her after what she saw on a couple of marines' t-shirts... prepare yourself... "I LOVE NY, US NAVY", pronounced Yloveni Usnavee.

Wow, that is truly crazy Renato! When you spell it like that it almost sounds Russian. Great find.

Wonderful! Jeff and I are always looking for new things to work into our "you make me laugh" routine. We will put this into action immediately.

The mother of a former coworker of mine is a kindergarten teacher for a local elementary school, and she has had many bad names over the years. The two that stuck in my mind are "Tequila Sunrise" & "Asshole" (pronounced "ah-SHOLE-ah", of course). Lastly, my mother had an employee once named Bambi Caprice because she was conceived in a Caprice that was eventually totaled after hitting a deer. I have never really named being named "Joe".

Sorry, I meant "I have never really complained about being named 'Joe'".

Joe is a fine name, especially when compared to the ones you mention.
