Link Karma for December
WeTheRobots.com
WeTheRobots.com is a new web comic created by Chris Harding (chrisharding.net). I've been a fan of Chris's work since 1996 or so when I first read his self-published comic "Feet of Clay" in the college newspaper. His sense of humor matches my own quite well, and he's a great animator to boot. It's great to see him return to the comics, where he's quite talented and funny.
This storyline about Sandi's Fin reminds me of the stupid moon boots that girls are wearing these days. Ladies, they were ugly on Napoleon Dynamite and they're ugly on you. Please stop.
Be sure to give his new robot comic a couple of minutes, and add his RSS feed to your reader of choice.
TheNoisyVillage.com
A personal blog created by my friend Shannon, TheNoisyVillage.com is one of the most impressive online journals I've ever read. Most of what I read is of a professional nature, be it animation, cartoons or general search engine optimization.
Shannon's writing and photography continuously display a sharp sense of style and design that remains hidden from the rest of the world. Much of her macro photography reminds me of the professional work that came across my desk while working for SC Johnson.

I really liked we the robots, its very funny. How is episode 11 going? Can we expect an appetiser? A tutorial founded on a certain technique used while producing the current episode? -Matthewb
Episode 11 has indeed been a long time in coming. I'm working on it currently, as well as the third design of Calico Monkey, and a separate tutorial site. Lots going on, clearly.
Catching my breath for the holidays, and I will be back in full swing after Christmas.
Will, you have made my day! I can't tell you how thankful I am for your kind words. It's hard to know when you keep a blog if people are enjoying it , so it was so nice to read your post today. Hope you had a great Xmas!
Woo! I'm a day-maker!
Hey, you're a 'new year' maker too. Without you, I'd have no 'click-able header'. You rock guy! Hope you had a great holiday. All the best in 2008.
New cartoons come out every other Thursday. I occasionally discuss publishing cartoons online and ways to make money with your cartoons. If any of that floats your boat I recommend subscribing to the RSS feed or follow my Twitter updates. Rock on.
