The power of this simple animation from Lev Yilmaz (ingredientx.com) really comes from his voice. Despite having a Stephen Wright style of delivery (or perhaps because of it), his run-on sentences sound intriguing and make you want to continue watching.
It's an interesting storytelling skill, and the animation plays a more subtle supporting roll than we're used to seeing.
No, the power of the story (As it is) is the strength. The animation is merely a way to focus our attention. Except with the goth kid part. There it illustrated and elaborated on his rambilings.
New cartoons come out every other Thursday. I occasionally discuss publishing cartoons online and ways to make money with your cartoons. If any of that floats your boat I recommend subscribing to the RSS feed or follow my Twitter updates. Rock on.
