Deadline, 3D Animation from Aardman

October 19, 2007

Happy Friday, one and all! I was inspired by Matthew's comments from last week's showcase to go out and find Aardman Animation's first foray into digital animation. Known for claymation work like Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run, this cartoon shows how a major production house can change formats but still retain their identity and quality.

On a slightly unrelated note, my computer apparently does not know that "claymation" is a word. That offends me.

That's ok, 'claymation' is a name brand anyway. 'Stop-motion' or 'pixelation' is what you're looking for. :)
