The Cat Came Back

March 6, 2008
After a successful first cartoon featuring a cat as an alarm clock, the fine folks at Tandem Films (specifically, Simon Tofield) have brought the cat back for another morning adventure.

More effort seems to have gone into this episode. The lines are cleaner and you can really see the effort that has gone into getting the cat's movements impressively smooth.

loved this, it reminded me so much of my cat when he was outside and now he does the whole thing now that he is inside

I'm glad you liked it Edgar, but I cannot take credit for it. Tandem Films created it, and they used Flash to do it. Flash, as I'm sure you know, is sadly not free.

Calico Monkey discusses animation programs, cartoon software and the art of making your own cartoons. Occasionally I release a new cartoon that has inadvertently made somebody chuckle. Such an outburst is purely accidental, I assure you. All animations were created with Toon Boom.
